Ms. Bolland was born and raised in a small Montana community named Malta by her father, a loan officer, and her mother, a retired secretary. She attended Montana State University Northern in Havre, Montana - a town only 100 miles from Malta.
For as long as she can remember, she has had a passion for helping others and teaching people new things. When she was seven years old, she informed her parents, and 1st grade teacher, that she was going to become a teacher. From that day forward, she never really planned to do anything else. Before her goal was actualized, she worked as a baggage person at a grocery store while in high school and a group home healthcare worker throughout college.
Ms. Bolland earned her degree in 2008 as the recession was hitting. That year, a lot of schools in Montana were consolidating to save money and the need for teachers dropped. Their loss was our gain. This led her to  attend an educator’s fair where the Tooele County School District was recruiting. Within a week, she was offered jobs from two different schools. She felt, “God wanted [her] to move to Tooele.” After working in the Tooele School District for five years, she was still drawn to a Christian environment. As soon as she saw the opening at Saint Marguerite, she did not hesitate to apply.
Ms. Bolland will begin her sixth year with Saint Marguerite. During this time she has taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade. She loves working at the school and hopes to continue for many more years.
