Adrienne Whittle

Math - Advanced, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry

Ms. Adrienne Whittle was born and raised in both Maryland and Southern California. She came to Utah for college and has been here for the last 18 years. Ms. Whittle and her husband, Adam, have five children and occasionally foster children. She loves to spend time with her family outdoors camping and hiking, reading, baking, and playing games.

Ms. Whittle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked for four years in the aerospace industry before becoming a stay at home mom. Her love of logic and math led her to get her teaching license to teach Math.

Her teaching philosophy is twofold – she believes anyone can learn Math and states, “Learning is like a pyramid, built piece-by-piece on a solid foundation. When a student struggles, it just means the foundation needs to be solidified. Her goal is to help students feel empowered and to avoid labeling themselves. Recognizing the real life applications for math inspires students to think long-term, learning to find the value in their work.”

Ms. Whittle is so blessed to be able to spend time with the 4th – 8th grade students each day.

“Saint Marguerite is such a good community of caring and dedicated students, parents, and educators.”
